If you find yourself dressed in green, with a shamrock in your lapel, and there is a whiff of green beer in
the air, you must be celebrating St. Patrick's
Day. The patron saint of Ireland arrived in the
emerald isle in 432 to convert the people to
Christianity. Irish legend said he
used the shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity to the people. You don't have to be in Ireland on March 17 to
celebrate St. Patrick's Day. It's a party day around the world.
